Abisko Aurora Tour from Kiruna with a Three Course Dinner
Local Sámi guides take the group to Abisko, one of the most dependable places anywhere for seeing the aurora. The evening includes a three course dinner, with the guides talking about Sámi culture, the country around you and the aurora itself, followed by guided time in the Abisko area. If the weather is against it there, the night turns into a chase on the way back to Kiruna instead. The drive to Abisko is the quiet advantage here. The road crosses several distinct weather zones, so even on a mostly cloudy night there is a decent chance of finding a break in one of them. Tripods are available for your camera or phone if you need one.
