Aurora Chase from Rovaniemi with a Deep Sky Telescope on Board

Two hunts running at once. The first is the usual one: no pre-selected route, every night planned from live cloud maps and solar data, and driving to wherever the sky is clearest, across Lapland, into Sweden, further if the forecast justifies it. The second is what nobody else in Lapland is doing. A smart telescope called Repo travels in the van and locks onto galaxies, nebulae and planets in real time while everyone waits for the aurora. You pick the target: Saturn's rings, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula. Watch it on the spot or scan a QR code and follow the view on your own phone. It is powerful enough to photograph galaxies while the aurora watch continues. Maximum 8 guests, one van, hosted by the owner. Not a bus to a fixed campfire.
