Aurora Ice: Ice Fishing and Salmon Dinner under the Northern Lights
Fish, eat and watch the sky without leaving the cabin. These are heated wooden ice fishing cabins with panorama windows, which makes this the one place in Alaska where you can watch the aurora through glass while a line is in the water below your feet. Inside stays at 75 to 85°F, around +25°C, so nobody is negotiating with the cold. The cabins run on solar power and carry underwater cameras, which is a real advantage: you can see where the fish are instead of guessing. A fish dinner is part of it, eaten where you caught it.
What's included
