Fairbanks Aurora Chasing with a Free Photo Service
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
FairbanksThe aurora season here runs from 20 August to 30 April, which is longer than most people assume: the lights are active year round, and what changes is whether the sky gets dark enough to see them. The photo service is free, delivered as JPG files. The operator is direct about the limits, and it bears repeating: nobody can promise the aurora. Weather and activity both shift during a tour, and a night that starts well can close over, or the other way round. Low visibility comes from conditions nobody controls. Pickup is from the listed hotels, and you may receive an email with the pickup time and location. The photographs are uploaded to OneDrive or Dropbox, and the link takes about 3 days to arrive.
