Northern Lights Adventure from Tromso in a Mercedes 4x4, Max 8 Guests

A small group aurora tour with no more than 8 guests in a Mercedes 4x4 van. Before the van leaves, the guides check the evening's weather and the road conditions, and pick the viewing spot from that. Roads matter as much as cloud here: a clear sky behind an unploughed pass is no use to anyone. Once out of Tromsø, the destination comes with a fire, hot drinks, cookies, and grilled pølse i brød, the Norwegian sausage in a bun. The guide talks about the aurora and about northern Norway, and answers whatever you ask. When the lights appear, the guides take portrait photographs of you underneath them. A timelapse video documents the evening either way, so even a quiet night comes home with something in it.
