Northern Lights Expedition from Tromso for Six with an Arctic Photo Guide
This one asks something of you: it suits people who are fit and comfortable walking on ice and snow, in a group of six. The vehicle is a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Truck, used to reach areas where the sky is clear. When conditions allow, the group continues on foot with a light hike or snowshoe walk to reach frozen lakes, quiet fjords and viewpoints that no coach will ever park at. Depending on whether the ground is ice or snow, you are given crampons or snowshoes, walking poles, thermal suits, and hand and foot warmers. Bring your own warm snow boots. The guide photographs you and the aurora. Bring your own camera if you have one: you get advice on shooting the aurora yourself and the use of a professional tripod. Soup for dinner, cookies and hot drinks out in the open. Booking note: all sales are final, with no refund for cancellation.
