Northern Lights Tour from Tromso with Arctic Glow, Local Guides and Photos
Arctic Glow is a family run company, and the guides were born and raised in northern Norway. Each evening they plan the tour from weather forecasts, live data, aurora activity and what they know about how this coast behaves. The route changes as the night does. Near Tromsø, along the coast, inland, or over the border into Finland or Sweden, depending on where the sky opens. When the aurora appears, the guide takes portraits of anyone who wants one. The edited photographs arrive by email the next day. Hot drinks, local snacks and homemade cake are included. The group is small, the route flexible, and the hospitality the ordinary northern Norwegian kind rather than a service script.

Troms
The minibus chase (0:30 to 2:00) Out of Tromsø and away from its light pollution, toward the better spots in the country around it. The guide watches the forecasts and the cloud cover while talking about the aurora, and is happy to answer questions about growing up and living up here. There are stops along the way to look at the sky. Stars are the signal: where you can see them, the cloud has broken, and the aurora has a chance.
