Small Group Quest for the Northern Lights in Tromso by 4x4 Van
An aurora hunt through northern Norway in a 4x4 van, with a guide who is also a photographer and has years of reading this area's weather patterns. Knowing where the cloud usually breaks is the difference between a wasted evening and a good one. The tour runs roughly 5 to 9 hours depending on conditions, which is a wide window and an honest one: a short night means the sky cooperated early. At the stop there is a campfire with homemade hot food, hot drinks and cookies. Drop-off at your hotel or accommodation, if it is on Tromsø island.

The guide picks you up and uses local weather knowledge to choose the viewing spot, which changes from night to night. Once there, a campfire with dinner, hot drinks and cookies, while the guide explains the aurora and takes photographs. Thermal suits and warmers are provided.
