Tromso Northern Lights Chase with Photos, Snacks and Thermal Suits

An aurora chase by bus from Tromsø, with guides who are also aurora photographers on board. The bus is the large kind, heated, with a toilet on board, which is the practical difference on a night that runs long. Hot drinks and light snacks come with it. Thermal suits are provided, and photographs of the night are part of the package. The route is decided by the weather. The guides drive toward wherever the sky is clearest that evening, which in northern Norway can mean crossing into a different valley entirely. A big bus is a real trade-off, and worth knowing before booking. It has the range and the fuel to keep chasing when a small van would turn back, and the toilet means the group can stay out. What it cannot do is follow narrow side roads to a lakeside a minibus would reach.
