Aurora Safari by Coach with Private Heated Camps and Onboard Toilet
An aurora chase by coach out of Tromsø, trading the city's electric light for the dark country around it. The destination is one of several private heated camps, picked on the day for the best viewing conditions. You can wait beside the campfire, or inside a hut or a lavvo, the Sámi tepee style tent. A hot meal is served at the camp, which has toilets and proper facilities. Having somewhere heated to retreat to changes the arithmetic of a long wait: you can stay out until the sky does something instead of leaving when your feet give up. If the weather turns, the group gets back on the bus and keeps chasing.

The check-in desk is on the upper floor of the Prostneset bus terminal, Samuel Arnesens gate 5, Tromsø. Show your voucher there, collect your tickets, and the guide will take you to your bus.
This is the start point of your Northern Lights Tour
The starting point. From here the guides take the group out into the wider Tromsø area to look for the aurora.

Depending on the weather, the coach moves around Troms County looking for clear sky.

A private heated camp, where there is a quick meal. If the weather calls for it, the group moves on to another location and the bus keeps chasing.
