Intimate Aurora Cabin Night with Bannock and Fish Chowder

The cabin is the point. It is warm, it is small, and the hosts are local, which mostly shows up in the northern stories told between sky checks. Midnight lunch is light but it is real food: hot bannock and a local fish chowder, with coffee and several teas, northern varieties included. Guests are welcome to bring a beverage of their own, champagne included, if the night turns out to be worth marking. There is northern clothing to dress up in for photographs, which sounds like a gimmick until the pictures come back. Two practical points. A small group can book the entire cabin for private use, with the cost calculated on the price of 12 guests. And the tour needs a minimum of 5 guests to run at all.
