Reykjavík Northern Lights Chase with Professional Photos and Viking Props

The operator's reasoning is that waiting takes up most of the night, so the waiting has to be worth something. That means hot chocolate and gingerbread, the science and the mythology of the northern lights explained while nothing is happening overhead, and a box of Viking props for photographs that have nothing to do with astronomy and a lot to do with laughing. The photography itself is serious. The guides are professional photographers with high end equipment, and the pictures come out in a quality no phone camera reaches in that light. Only minibuses are used, fitted with extra heaters and kept warm through the night, so there is always somewhere to retreat when the cold wins. Departures are from Reykjavik, and if the aurora fails to appear, the retry is free.
