On the way you get the science of what causes the aurora and practical instructions for photographing it, whether you brought a camera or only a phone. Hot chocolate is included while everyone waits. Sightings cannot be guaranteed. If none appear, you can join one additional scheduled departure free of charge, subject to availability.
