If the forecast for that night is poor, the reservation moves to the next day, and the next. If no suitable day can be found, the payment is returned. No trip runs when the chances are nil. That policy is the reason the success rate holds up. Travel is by minivan in small groups. Bring a snack for the evening and warm clothes. There is no campfire and no sausage grilling here. With this much driving and this kind of weather it usually is not possible, and the focus stays on finding the lights.
