Small Group Northern Lights Jeep Tour with an Icelandic Guide and Photos

A jeep, a handful of other passengers and an Icelandic guide who talks for most of the drive. The subjects are the Vikings, the settlement of the country, the Norse gods, and the trolls and elves that Icelanders are still oddly careful about. It fills the road time better than silence. The guide also works the camera, so the photographs come home with you rather than living on somebody's phone at the wrong exposure. Two things the operator states plainly, and they are worth repeating. Luck is a factor: conditions can look perfect and the aurora can still stay away, and in that case there is a free retry, subject to availability. And the tour can be cancelled at any point, for weather, forecast, low numbers or technical trouble.
