Whale Watching by Day and Northern Lights by Sea from Reykjavík
Two sailings from the same harbour, sold as one. The daytime boat heads into Faxaflói bay after minke and humpback whales, dolphins, harbour porpoises and killer whales, with the mountains and islands around Reykjavik on every side and plenty of birdlife working the water. On board there are warm overalls, heated indoor cabins with room to move, a bar and free WiFi. Then time ashore to dry off and eat before the second half. Watching the aurora from the sea is a different proposition to watching it from a lay-by: no headlights, no roads, nothing between the boat and the horizon. The overalls come out again, and there are snacks and refreshments on board while the sky is working.

Two tours in one booking. The whale watching runs during the day and lasts 2 to 3.5 hours, then you have time ashore to get ready for the second half. The northern lights sailing starts in the evening and lasts 2 to 3 hours.

- Please note that in case of cancellation of the whale watching tour, the price of the entire ticket will not be refunded, only the whale watching part. The ticket to the museum is open, meaning you can freely choose when you want to go. This does not have to happen on the same day that your whale watching tour is scheduled.
