Autumn Aurora and Dog Mushing Cart Ride near Fairbanks

Autumn is when Alaska gets its nights back. The daylight shortens week by week, and with the darkness the aurora becomes visible again. This one runs on a cart rather than a sled, which is how mushers train their teams before the snow arrives. It means you can do this in September and October, when the aurora is already active but the ground is still bare.
