Pickup from your accommodation in Rovaniemi, then out in a minivan with a maximum of 8 guests and your guide. The night runs as a hunt with no fixed route. The guide keeps adjusting to real-time weather and aurora forecasts and will cover long distances for clear sky, including crossing the Swedish border when that is what it takes. Several locations are possible in one night, each chosen for its distance from light pollution. The guide also handles the photography, so the images are good enough to keep. The duration is deliberately flexible, which means staying out longer when the sky is worth it. Hot drinks and light snacks come before the return to Rovaniemi.
