Polar Lapland Office.
Rovaniemi
Guests board the heated bus and have tickets scanned at the Polar Lapland office before departure. Once everyone is aboard, the search for clear sky begins.
Lapland
With clear sky found, the guide brings the group to a viewing spot away from light pollution. The photography starts there and warm juice is served. When conditions allow, a small fire is lit. After that it is just the aurora and the waiting.
Rovaniemi
When the viewing is over, the bus heads back to Rovaniemi and the group is dropped at the Polar Lapland Office. All photographs from the night are sent digitally afterwards.
