Kiruna Northern Lights Chase with a Photographer, Lights of Vikings

Pickup is from your hotel in Kiruna, and where the night goes depends entirely on the weather. Abisko, the boreal forest around Kiruna, or anywhere else with a gap in the cloud. Lights of Vikings built their reputation on finding clear sky, and on being willing to drive a long way to reach it. Clear sky is the single condition the aurora cannot work around, and covering distance is the only reliable answer to cloud. Wherever the group ends up, the guides fill the drive with stories about the aurora and about the Vikings. Once the sky opens they photograph the display and send you the images within 3 days. If you have brought a camera, they will help you set it up. Hot drinks and a campfire keep the cold off while the lights are overhead. Afterwards the group is driven back to Kiruna.
