The site is private, free of light pollution and open to the north, which is the direction that matters. Most aurora tours stop at that and leave you standing in the cold. This one has somewhere to go. A warm tepee with a fire, light snacks, and a Wilderness Lodge with heated indoor facilities, so the waiting can happen inside and the watching outside. The guide covers the northern lights and Lappish culture, and takes professional quality photographs that are sent to you afterwards. The aurora is natural and cannot be guaranteed. If none appears, you can repeat the same excursion once, free of charge, within the following two weeks, subject to availability.
