Northern Lights Big Bus Chase from Tromso with Free Photos
Arctic Explorers have taken more than 60,000 guests out since 2012, and this is their volume product: a big bus, which is what brings the price per person down. The bus is heated and roomy, with WiFi and toilets on board. Those two things are what let a chase run long without anyone needing to turn back. One or two guides travel with cameras and photograph you under the aurora, included at no cost and with no hidden fees. Tours run 7 to 9 hours and often go deep into open country, sometimes crossing into Finland or Sweden to find clear sky. The guides do not give up early, which is the point of the format. The bus can get back as late as 02:30, so leave the following morning free. It suits families, groups of friends and anyone chasing the aurora for the first time.
