Private Glass Igloo Dinner and Aurora Safari by Snowmobile or ATV
A private pickup in Rovaniemi, then a drive out to a lakeside site where a single glass igloo is waiting. Dinner is three Lapland courses cooked over an open fire and eaten inside the dome. The glass gives you the frozen lake, the forest and the whole sky at once, which is a considerably better place to wait for the aurora than a roadside. After dinner the evening changes character. Professional thermal clothing goes on, and the safari crosses the ice and runs the forest trails on a snowmobile or an ATV, with guides steering the route towards the best viewing spots. A comfortable transfer takes you back to the city at the end.

Rovaniemi
The guide collects you from your accommodation and drives out to somewhere unusual: the guide's father's private land, hidden in wild forest.
Step into cozy Glass Igloo where you can dine in comfort…
Inside the glass igloo, dinner is traditional Finnish cooking made from old recipes and fresh ingredients, eaten in comfort with the winter forest visible on every side.
Dress up with warm
Then the gear: thermal overalls, winter boots, gloves, a helmet and whatever else the night requires. The guides help everyone dress properly, because the difference between good gear and bad gear in Lapland is the difference between an hour outside and three. Once everyone is ready there is a safety briefing and instructions for driving the snowmobile.
Drive the snowmobiles through the beautiful landscapes of…
The ride follows the guide along snowy forest trails and out across open Arctic ground. Cold air, quiet trees, and the sort of country that most visitors only see from a bus window. The guide leads the route and keeps the group together.
