Private Glass Igloo Dinner and Snowmobile Safari under the Aurora, Rovaniemi
A private evening built around one table in one glass igloo, at a lakeside site with nobody else around. The transfer is by luxury car. At the site you change into thermal gear and take a snowmobile across the frozen lake, which is the loud half of the night. The quiet half is dinner: three courses cooked over an open fire and eaten inside the igloo, where the glass walls put the forest and the whole sky in front of you. If the aurora appears, you are already sitting under it and still warm.

A private pickup from your hotel, the airport or the train station in a comfortable luxury car. The guide drives out through snow covered country to a secluded lakeside location.

Dinner in the glass igloo. Three gourmet courses, cooked over an open fire and served in your private igloo. You eat in the warmth while the transparent walls hold the forest on every side, and the northern lights overhead if the night obliges.

Next comes the dressing area and a set of professional thermal clothing, which is what makes the rest of the evening bearable rather than memorable for the wrong reasons. Then a snowmobile ride across the frozen lake and through silent, snow covered forest, under the night sky.

After the ride you change back into your own clothes and have a last hot drink. The driver then takes you back to your accommodation.
