The guides are also professional photographers, and the chase runs anywhere from 50 km to 400 km from Rovaniemi, planned each night from live weather and solar activity data. With 8 guests per group there is time for everyone, and the van is a warm premium one with hot drinks and local snacks on board, rather than a cold stop at the side of a road. The hunt can end on a frozen lake in Finland or in a valley in Sweden. The photographs are professional and arrive by email within 24 to 72 hours. No campfire, no sausages. Just the hunt. Start: 18:00 to 20:00, confirmed by email by 13:00. Duration: 4 to 12 hours. Distance: up to 400 km. Return: between 01:00 and 03:00, sometimes later.
