Nights usually run 6 to 8 hours depending on the weather, and the locations come from local forecasts and live aurora data rather than a set route. Groups are capped at 8. The guides are also professional photographers, and the chase runs anywhere from 50 km to 400 km from Rovaniemi, planned each night from live weather and solar activity data. With 8 guests per group there is time for everyone, and the van is a warm premium one with hot drinks and local snacks on board, rather than a cold stop at the side of a road. The hunt can end on a frozen lake in Finland or in a valley in Sweden. The photographs are professional and arrive by email within 24 to 72 hours. No campfire, no sausages. Just the hunt. Start: 18:00 to 20:00, confirmed by email by 13:00. Duration: 4 to 12 hours. Distance: up to 400 km. Return: between 01:00 and 03:00, sometimes later.
