RovaniemiOne booking covers a morning with the animals and an evening under the sky, with the afternoon left free in between. The morning goes to the huskies, with a short ride behind a team, and then to the reindeer for a sleigh ride. Both are short and both are the real thing rather than a photo stop. The evening moves out to the aurora spots, with a Lappish BBQ and hot tea at a traditional kota, the Sami tent with a fire in the middle of it. There is a walk on the frozen lake if you want one, and the cold is part of the deal. No aurora is guaranteed. It is weather, not a schedule.

Rovaniemi
Morning section, 09:00 to 12:30. A guided run from Rovaniemi covering three activities in one day. The transfer from your hotel goes to the husky and reindeer farm, where you meet the Arctic huskies and take a short husky ride of 500m. Then the Lapland reindeer team, and a reindeer sleigh ride of 400m. The morning ends around 12:30, and the guide drops you either at your hotel or at Santa Village, whichever you prefer. The afternoon is yours. Evening section, 20:00 to 23:30. The guide collects you again and drives to two different aurora locations. One sits beside a large open Arctic lake, which gives excellent visibility if the lights appear. The other is a quiet, dark spot with nothing in the way. A Lappish BBQ is included while everyone waits. Notes: the total is 7 hours including travel time, and there is no 100% guarantee of seeing the aurora, because it is a natural phenomenon.
