Rovaniemi Northern Lights Hunt with Campfire, Snacks and Lappish Folk Tales
Two and a half hours on a lake shore, most of it inside a traditional tent with a fire going in the middle. The kit list matters here: a warm outfit is provided when the temperature outside drops below -15 degrees, which in Lapland it regularly does. A professional guide, a hot drink and snacks cooked over the fire fill the rest. The aurora is the headline act and the one thing nobody controls. What the tour guarantees is the fire, the lake and the stories, which is a fair way to spend a Lapland night either way.
