Small Group Northern Lights Tour from Reykjavik with Free Photos
An aurora tour where the guide teaches you to photograph what you are looking at, whether you brought a camera or only a phone. The group is small, and the guide takes a photograph of you with the aurora behind you and sends it afterwards. Alongside that come the settings and techniques that actually work on a moving green light in the dark, which is where most aurora photographs go wrong. Hot chocolate and snacks are included, and the conversation is part of the tour rather than a soundtrack to it. The destination changes every night. The guide drives to wherever the forecast puts the strongest display, which is why no two departures follow the same route.

Reykjanes Peninsula
The group heads well away from the capital's light pollution looking for clear sky. The guide has read the Icelandic Met Office aurora forecast beforehand and knows which areas have the better odds that night, though it sometimes takes a few attempts to find the right spot. Along the way come stories about Iceland and about the aurora itself. Once the green shimmer appears, the guide helps with your camera settings and photographs you against it. Afterwards you get a link to download high quality photographs of yourself under the northern lights.
