WhitehorseTen seats, no coach. The tour travels by pickup truck or van, which is the reason it can keep moving until it finds a clear patch of sky instead of committing to one car park for the night. Escaping the crowd is most of the appeal. With up to 10 travellers there is room to stand apart from the others, and the noise level at the viewing spot stays close to silence. The aurora remains elusive and nobody sells a guarantee on it, but a small vehicle and a short passenger list make the night easier to steer.
