FairbanksA full night at Chena Hot Springs with guides and transport included, built around the hours when the aurora is most likely rather than around the resort's opening times. The Fairbanks Ice Museum comes first, with its hand carved chandeliers and bars, then the hot springs, then the waiting. This one runs later than most: the group stays until 2 am and gets back to Fairbanks around 4 am, which puts you outside through the entire window when the aurora is statistically most active. Booking note: all sales are final, with no refund for cancellation.

The resort sits 60 miles from Fairbanks, on springs first used by Alaska Natives and later by early miners. The schedule for the night: 5:00 pm Departure from Fairbanks 6:45 pm Arrival at Chena Resort 7:00 pm Guided Ice Museum 8:00 pm Soak in the hot springs rock lake (18 and over) or the indoor pool 12:00 am Waiting for the northern lights 2:00 am Leaving Chena Hot Springs 4:00 am Back in Fairbanks
