The guide stays with the group for the whole night rather than dropping you at the resort and reappearing at the end. Somebody else does the driving, which on a 60 mile road in winter darkness is worth more than it sounds, and the guide fills the journey with the local knowledge and stories that turn a transfer into part of the evening. If the aurora shows during the tour, a professional portrait session is included.
